Trust is the product. Every gig you complete, every meetup you show up to, every orbit you join runs on the assumption that the person on the other side is real and acting in good faith. These rules exist to protect that assumption — so your reputation, your safety, and your community travel with you, city to city.

They apply everywhere on Circoolo: the marketplace, Orbit events, communities, chats, reviews, and your profile. They sit alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy — read those too.

Be real

Circoolo is built on one simple promise: one real person, one real identity. You sign in with your phone number, Google, or Apple, and you show up as yourself.

You must be 18 or older to use Circoolo. No exceptions.
No impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone else, another business, or a Circoolo employee.
No fake or duplicate profiles. One account, and it's actually you.
Keep your account yours. Don't buy, sell, or lend accounts, reviews, or reputation.

Respect privacy

Circoolo is radius-aware by design — the app never shares anyone's exact location. Proximity shows up as a radius or a city, never a pin on a door. That's a feature, and it's also a promise you're expected to keep.

Never dox anyone. Don't share, publish, or dig for someone's precise whereabouts, home, or workplace.
Don't leak private conversations. No screenshotting or reposting what happens inside private orbits or DMs without consent.
Handle personal info with care. Phone numbers, real-time locations, photos of others — share only what you have the right to share.

Be decent

Everyone here is someone far from home. Treat them like it.

No harassment or bullying — in chats, reviews, meetups, or anywhere else.
No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other identity.
No threats or intimidation. Ever.
No unwanted sexual attention. A meetup or a gig is not an opening line.

Trade in good faith

The marketplace only works if a listing means what it says and a deal closes the way it was described.

Deliver what you list. Honest service descriptions, honest pricing, honest timelines.
Communicate. Reply, show up, and let the other side know if plans change.
Keep deals on Circoolo. Moving a deal off-platform to avoid protections, reviews, or fees puts you both at risk — and off-platform scams are prohibited.
No fraud or money laundering. No chargebacks-as-a-tactic, no fake disputes, no using Circoolo to move dirty money.
Sell only what you're allowed to sell. No illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, or anything the law says no to.

Keep reviews & reputation honest

Your orbit score and XP ladder — Explorer, Connector, Builder, Ambassador — are earned by real activity: completing gigs, hosting meetups, accepted referrals, contributing to orbits. That's what makes reputation worth carrying between cities. Don't fake it.

No fake or incentivized reviews. After a gig, both sides review each other — honestly. Don't trade, buy, or pressure reviews.
No gaming XP or the orbit score. No fake gigs, no self-dealing, no bot activity to climb the ladder.
No fake referrals. Inviting real nomads can earn rewards; self-referrals, fake invites, and referral abuse cannot.

Respect each orbit's rules

Communities on Circoolo — we call them orbits — are community-owned. Public orbits are open to discover; private orbits are apply-to-join. Their owners and moderators set house rules on top of these platform-wide ones.

Follow the house rules of any orbit you join. If you don't like them, you can leave.
Owners moderate their orbits. They can set expectations, remove content, and remove members within their space.
These platform rules always apply on top. A house rule can be stricter than ours, but never a loophole around them.

Zero tolerance. Some things get you removed immediately — no warning, no second chance. This includes illegal activity of any kind; any sexual content involving minors; violent extremism or terrorism; non-consensual intimate content; and selling illegal goods. Where the law requires it, we report these to the authorities.

How moderation works

Anyone can report a person or a piece of content — a profile, a listing, a message, a review, a meetup. Here's what happens next.

Report → review → outcome

Report. Flag it from the app, or email hello@circoolo.com.
Review. We look at the context. Orbit owners moderate their own spaces; Circoolo backs the platform as a whole.
Outcome. Depending on severity, that can mean a warning, a temporary suspension, or removal of content or the account.

Emergency action

When there's a real risk to someone's safety, we can act immediately — removing content or an account first and reviewing after. Keeping people safe comes before process.
